  On July 1 and 2, VIA organised the first international conference in Europe on the transport and logistics of perishable products. .

The experience acquired over recent years in the logistics of perishable products, has made Vitoria Airport a reference model in this sector as it has the necessary know-how, optimum installations and human resources required for treating these extremely delicate items. With the experience acquired over recent years by companies with links to the airport, VIA designed and organised this conference with the intention of including all the companies that make up the logistics chain: from fruit and vegetable producers to large supermarkets, as well as logistics operators, transport companies and airlines.

The conference was attended by more than 130 leading professionals from the world over who, for a day and a half, debated and analysed the problems and solutions of a sector in constant development and growth. All those who attended the conference highlighted the excellence of the talks as well as the instructive and practical nature of the conference.
